“To stay away from Christianity because part of the Bible’s teaching is offensive to you assumes that if there is a God he wouldn’t have any views that upset you. Does that belief make sense?  If you don’t trust the Bible enough to let it challenge and correct your thinking, how could you ever have a personal relationship with God? In any truly personal relationship, the other person has to be able to contradict you.” -Tim Keller

heart of orphan vs. heart of sonship
gregsimas:
Our identity in Christ needs to be solid if we are to change history. Our minds need to be renewed to know who we really are and choose to live as sons and daughters of our King.

If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.

what belongs to you?

wow. time to step into my stewardship!

flyerthanangels:

This is part one of a two-part post.

“The earth belongs to the Lord, and the fullness thereof; the world, and all who dwell therein!” - Psalm 24:1

The NATIONS belong to the Lord!

But the question is not whether the nations belong to the Lord - they do - the question is: do they belong to you?

The word of the Lord says in Psalm 2:8, “ASK of me, and I will make the nations YOUR INHERITANCE; the ends of the earth YOUR POSSESSION!”

The problem for many of us is that we’re too busy declaring that the earth belongs to the Lord, but we have yet to believe that the earth belongs to us! That in the eyes of God, we possess it!  See, what you possess you will fight for, and what you have as an inheritance you must claim! Instead of passively praying, you’ll begin to fight for the nations you possess!

We know that North Korea belongs to the Lord, but beloved -North Korea belongs to us!When you begin to recognize that you possess the land as an inheritance, that it belongs to you, you begin to pray differently, speak differently, live differently.

But it’s not just nations - the generations belong to the Lord - out of the mouths of babes and infants God has ordained praise - but the generations belong to us as well! We are the seed of Abraham - God promised that He would make us a great nation, and that through us all of the nations would be blessed!

But beloved, it’s so much deeper than that!

We all know that all peace, all joy, all righteousness belong to Christ - we exalt him as the Lord of Lord, the Prince of Peace, we declare that of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end - but how many of us recognize that that same peace Jesus gave to us!

Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” Many of us know that peace belongs to God, but beloved peace belongs to us! It’s been GIVEN to us! For you to not let peace reign in your heart, for you to be troubled, for you to be anxious, in fear and trepidation must mean that you have lost the revelation of what rightly belongs to you!

His love, His righteousness, His triumph, His victory on the Cross, His resurrection power - it all belongs to God, but beloved Christ DIED so that you would possess it as well!

We know that Christ is the King of Kings; but check it out - He gave US the keys to the kingdom!

Christ is the Commander of the Lord’s Army with all authority and power, but He gave us weapons of warfare and all authority to trample snakes and scorpions under our feet!

He possesses the nations, but it belongs to us as an inheritance!

It all belongs to God, but it also all BELONGS to us!

Which means that if you aren’t seeing it manifest right now, keep pressing in. Keep fighting, keep believing.

Too many of us in the body of Christ attribute to Christ out of unbelief what Christ wants to attribute to us via faith. We have yet to steward on the earth what God has already released and given to us because we don’t believe that we have it! We don’t believe that we already possess the power, the grace, the life, the authority that Christ has already given unto us by the Cross, and therefore we don’t steward it!

But it’s time for you to step into your stewardship. I’ve found myself for so long walking in foolishness and powerlessness, because I was ignorant of what I possess, and therefore had been ignoring my stewardship!

But when you get a revelation of what you have been given, you’ll fight to protect it, to steward it, and to give it to others - that’s a battle with great plunder right there! That’s a battle you will fight for with passion, fire, and faith! You’ll dispel any thief who comes to take something that you rightfully own!

Shift your heart and mind away from what you lack, and begin to recognize what you possess!

Being under the love/instruction/covering of my spiritual fathers is what set me free, but more importantly, enabled me to stay free. This video marks what the church and the sons/daughters of God are lacking today. My own spiritual papa/mama, Pastor Christian and Pastor Erin, and their spiritual parents, Pastor Benjamin and Pastor Sunhee, are all in here. Family, this is what we need. This is what’s up.
